Fiji (Beqa) July 2015

Beqa Shark Dives

We came to Fiji for the shark feeds at The Bistro on Beqa Lagoon. They didn't disappoint with plenty of Bull Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Nurse Sharks and a special visit from "survivor" a 5 metre Tiger Shark. We dived here 4 days during our stay. A great high adrenaline dive we'd recommend for anyone's bucketlist

Fiji Colour

Fijian reefs are renowned for the variety of colourful soft corals. This is a variety of colour we saw on dives around Beqa incuding a purpose sunk wreck.

Fiji Fish

What a variety! Our dives out of Pacific Harbour had such a massive range of fish from big pelagics like giant trevally to colourful reef fish.

Fijian Nudibranchs

More colour this time from our sluggy friends! Different parts of the world + different nudibranchs.

The People

More than just diving ... these trips are about meeting new people, developing friendship, relaxing and having fun. Who wouldn't remember Wendy at reception from this trip at Uprising Beach Resort.

Voli Voli Extension

Move from Pacific Harbour to the north coast to stay at Voli Voli. Comfortable resort and some nice diving with boat trips to local reef and Bligh Passage and, included here, dives on the Voli Voli House Reef including trying out UV photography

Nearby Boat Dives

A short boat trip from the Volivoli Beach Resort to a couple of the great local sites: The Maze, Bat Reef and Coral Gardens

Bligh Passage

A day trip out of Voli Voli are the dive site of Bligh Passage the waterway between Fiji's two largest islands. A Mecca for colourful soft corals and fish you'd see in an aquarium. Great sites like Purple Haze, Mellow Yellow, Pot Luck and Why Not
